Howick Bowling Club

The Howick Bowling Club (Lawn Bowls) is the largest club in Auckland​,​ along with a thriving venue hire business that attracts thousands of people each year. We boasts a vibrant membership with weekly tournaments and social events planned throughout the year. With various membership opportunities and coaching and rollups for players of all skill levels. We are a club with a growing membership and have great plans for the future with the upcoming canopy over our D Green to create a year-round playing surface. The Club has over 200 members and lots of Auckland wide and National events are held at our club. We have a great function space with attached licensed bar and a commercial kitchen for events and offer the opportunity for corporate bowls. We also run Business House Burger and Bowls each year across February and March which is greatly enjoyed by local businesses and organizations. There about 15​,​000 visitors that come to our grounds every year along with our venue hire upstairs​,​ which attracts around 20-30​,​000 visitors per year. Allowing extensive advertising opportunities for businesses to promote themselves. The venue hire involves local groups and clubs​,​ NZ Blood​,​ National Party​,​ investment seminars and parties or wakes. The upstairs venue hire looks over our main green and is a perfect place to advertise your business. We also support out community groups like WHIST​,​ CARDS 500​,​ East Auckland Combined Probus Group​,​ ZONTA​,​ local Church group – Grace Point Church​,​ Howick Pakuranga Chess Club​,​ Howick Craft Group​,​ Craft and Stamping group​,​ Fencible Quilting group and Full Muay Thai Cup and yoga groups through the year.
